Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Engineer to join our team. As a Procurement Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement activities within our organization. Your role will involve coordinating with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, tracking inventory levels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements. Your expertise in procurement processes and your ability to optimize cost and quality will be crucial in ensuring successful project execution.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies and plans in alignment with project requirements and organizational goals.
  • Identify and assess potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best terms and pricing.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project needs and specifications, and ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
  • Monitor supplier performance, track deliveries, and resolve any issues or discrepancies to maintain smooth operations.
  • Conduct market research and stay updated with industry trends and best practices to optimize procurement processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier information.
  • Analyze and report on key procurement metrics, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory levels.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement, and implement appropriate measures to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, project management, and finance, to ensure alignment and support project objectives.
