Job Description

Develop lesson plans and themes in line with curriculum objectives specific for teachingPre KG or Early Years grades. Instruct through lectures, discussions, and demonstrations. Use computers, audiovisual aids, and other equipment and materials to supplement presentations. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the varying needs and interests of students. Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with students and organizing learning resources and the classroom environment. Meeting with parents or guardians, teachers, counselors and administrators to resolve any possible behavioural or academic problems. Attend professional development workshops and educational conferences in order to maintain and improve professional competence. Establish and enforce rules for class management and student behaviour. Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments to evaluate student progress.Required Qualifications:? A Bachelor of Education Degree for KG or an Early Years Diplomafrom a recognized University in theUK, US, CA, AU, NZ? A TEACHING LICENSE FROM ONE OF THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES: UK, US, CA, AU, NZ? Musthave excellent English communication skills and could pass an IELTS at level 6.5? Must have excellent classroom management skills and able to deal effectively with student behaviour issuesRequired Experience:? Minimum 3 years teaching experience at appropriate grade levels in KG or Early Years levels? Is culturally sensitive, dependable, flexible and able to work in a continuously changing environmentMonthly Salary Range:TAX FREE Monthly salary KWD 700 - 1175 depending on experience and qualificationsHousing:

  • Furnished 1-2 bedroom flat depending on family size
  • OR a Housing Allowance of KD 125 ($415 USD) monthly and candidates find their own accommodation (rent is not expensive in Kuwait)
  • Utilities paid for in the school provided accommodation
  • Transportation provided from housing to school
Health Insurance Coverage:Health Insurance provided for employee ONLYAnnual Air Tickets:Annual return Air Fare to home country for employee ONLYLeave:In addition to official holidays, paid leave is allocated as per school calendar/breaks.
