Job Description

  • Food preparation and mise-en-place on daily basis as per the menu
  • Food preparation and quality check for staff food
  • direction to other chefs and assisting, guiding with correct methods of cooking
  • Standardizing recipes and ensuring food quality is maintained
  • Assisting senior chefs for new menu development
  • Assist in controlling food cost and checking daily ordering of raw materilas
  • Following FIFo of raw materials and ensuring proper stacking of raw materials
  • Checking raw materials received
  • Maintaining Food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
  • Checking expiration of products and ensuring corrective measures
  • Adhering to duty allocation of the staff and personal grooming check
  • Deep cleaning and maintaining temperature records
  • Staff training and development
  • Checking fire exhaust units , equipment maintenance and kitchen hood cleaning˙
