Pastry Chef / Baker

Pastry Chef Required

Able to produce all baked goods including but not limited to artisan bread and rolls, laminated Danish, laminated croissants and doughnuts etc
Able to develop, and create new ideas and items for the Pastry Kitchen.
Ensures that all temperatures of equipment are within norm
Responsible for storing and stocking raw materials
Keeps a list of the needed materials on a daily basis
Inspects quality during and after the baking process
Maintains a hygiene work space, utensils and equipment
Completes production sheets on a daily basis
Trains and coaches all new hired employees and supervises their performance
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Builds solid relations with all employees to help optimize the time needed to accomplish tasks
Has a passion and love for baking
Able to work under pressure and is a competent team player
Possess a positive attitude and have the ability to work with a variety of people and in cooperation with co-workers efficiently and effectively.
Attend all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement
Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
