Supervises the preparation and production of all baked goods.
Prepares pies and cakes, as well as other pastries, including icings and frostings, according to established recipes.
Analyzes food costs and determines most cost-effective recipes while maintaining consistent superior quality.
Ensures that all temperatures of equipment are within the norms; reports to the maintenance department any out-of-order incidents.

Completes production sheets and other records as required.
Ensures the highest level of hygiene in all food handling operations.
Trains and coaches all new hired employees in his department to meet job requirements and supervises their performance.
Ensures compliance with company?s policies and procedures.
Evaluates all employees under his/her supervision.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Provides services related to governmental procedures and requirements to employees.
Builds solid relations with all departments to help optimize the time needed to accomplish tasks.
