Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the performance of our mission-critical Oracle database environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering and configuring Oracle database instances, including installation, patching, and upgrades
  • Monitoring database performance, identifying and resolving issues, and implementing performance tuning strategies
  • Ensuring data integrity, security, and high availability through backup and recovery strategies, access controls, and disaster recovery planning
  • Automating database management tasks and developing scripts/tools to improve efficiency
  • Collaborating with application teams to understand and address database-related requirements
  • Providing technical guidance and support to developers, IT teams, and business stakeholders
  • Documenting database processes, configurations, and best practices
  • Overseeing database-related projects, including planning, coordinating, and managing the implementation of new database initiatives
  • Developing project plans, timelines, and budgets for database projects
  • Tracking project progress, managing risks and issues, and communicating updates to stakeholders
