Job Title: Operation Manager or Operation Assistant ManagerReports to: Production ManagerCategory: PermanentMain Purpose: Managing the operations of the plant to ensure safe and efficient operations, ensure production of hydrocarbons is achieved in accordance with HSE legislative standards, production plans, targets and specifications, managing maintenance activities to ensure availability and reliability of the plant equipment and plant integrity, deputy of production management.Key ResponsibilitiesOperation Management:- Ensure production and quality target are achieved.- Lead daily operation meetings and any other group meetings as and when required.- Ensure that plant integrity is not compromised at any time and availability of safety critical equipment.- Review and approve production report and lab analysis report.- Responsible for the health, safety, well-being and moral fall members of the facility team.- Ensures that process systems are operated in accordance with safe operating procedures (SOPs).- Promote a positive HSE culture within the facility team.- Responsible for fostering a good working relationship with all other departments.Maintenance Management:-Ensure the implementation of preventive/predictive/ condition monitoring /curative maintenance to maintain the plant and equipment availability.-Review and approve the monthly maintenance report.-Ensure the proper spare part management and availability.-Ensure adequate plant shutdown preparation and execution.-Ensure all plant integrity through corrosion monitoring (chemicals/corrosion probe and coupon)/thickness survey/ vessel inspection-Ensure employees adherence of safe work practiceFinancial Management:-Responsible for providing all financial inputs and data to complete the process of compiling the Financial Budgets, budget plans and the budgeting process for the project within specified time frames.-Ensure that controls and reporting systems, as directed by the production manager are executed to ensure that project and other operating expenses are within the budgeted numbers.Customer Focus:-The Position holder is expected to provide regular updates to the production manager on specific issues raised by stake holders of the GC16 project and also provide necessary reports on how the issues have been addressed by coordinating and interacting with the Operations team and Contractors, if any.-Actively seek the client satisfaction by close follow-up and action to sort out all client complains and request.People Management:-Ensure that employees - direct and indirect are constantly motivated to ensure that the GC-16 Plant is fully operational within specified time limits.-Develop required technical training with respect to disciplines and equipment.-Ensure Performance Objectives are set and Reviews conducted at specified intervals for specified levels within the project.Organization Management:-Prepare and maintain Organization structure not only for the immediate operations but also factor in the immediate future needs of the GC-16 Plant to ensure appropriate staffing. -Ensure minimum manning of GC-16 is maintained at any time and provision made to avoid manpower shortfall.-Actively participate in inter divisional meetings and ensure that action points arising out of those meetings are executed.Key Interfaces:Internal-The Production Manager-Construction Manager-Engineering Manager-HR manager-HSE ManagerExternal-Consultants-Contractors-Industry Specialists-Statutory Authorities-Vendors-Clients/Customers
