Job Description

A) Job Summary:The Offset Printing Technician specializing in cutting, heating, and stamping is responsible for operating and maintaining offset printing presses and performing post-press operations. This role ensures the production of high-quality printed materials and their proper finishing through cutting, heating, and stamping processes.B) Key Responsibilities:Offset Printing Operations:

  • Set up and operate offset printing presses to produce printed materials.
  • Load paper and ink and adjust press settings for optimal performance.
  • Monitor press operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on printing equipment.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure printed materials meet specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve printing issues promptly.
Cutting Operations:
  • Set up and operate cutting machines to trim printed materials to precise dimensions.
  • Measure and align materials accurately for cutting.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on cutting equipment.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
Heating Operations:
  • Operate heating equipment for finishing processes such as drying and curing.
  • Monitor and adjust temperature settings to prevent material damage.
  • Ensure even application of heat for consistent quality.
Stamping Operations:
  • Set up and operate stamping machines for processes like embossing, debossing, and foil stamping.
  • Align stamping dies and adjust pressure settings for optimal results.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on stamping equipment.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure high-quality stamping.
General Duties:
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Collaborate with team members for efficient workflow and problem-solving.
  • Maintain production records and report issues to supervisors.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in printing and finishing technology.
C) Experience:
  • 3/- years? experience in relevant field.
  • Proven experience as an offset printing technician.
  • Expertise in post-press operations such as cutting, heating, and stamping.
D) Education:
  • Diploma or equivalent
E) Remarks
  • The role is Kuwait based/transferable residency is a must.
  • The budget for the role is KD 400/- (unnegotiable).
  • The role is outsourcing for a client - Banking Sector
  • Immediate joiners are a preference.
