Job Description

We are looking for a fearless Nursing Director to take our nursing team above and beyond.Canadian Medical Center is one of the best healthcare providers in GCC located in Kuwait. We have a luxurious and polyvalent environment fitted with cutting-edge technology in healthcare services. Main responsibilities and duties of the nursing director:

  • Plan, direct, manage, and coordinate operations for patient care activities. Facilitates in achieving overall Hospital goals and objectives through departmental activities.
  • Create nursing models that promote and maintain high standards for effective and efficient patient care, customer service, and ethical behavior.
  • Provide leadership for organizational performance improvement activities; initiates quality improvement programs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and accreditation standards.
  • Prepare, review, and manage activity-based nursing budgets, to ensure responsible allocation of capital and operating funds.
  • Engage in patient rounds to evaluate care and promote customer satisfaction.
  • Plans for the provision of orientation, in-service training, and continuing education programs.
  • Combine effort with recruitment and retention activities to assure adequate numbers of competent staff to meet the needs of patient populations served.
  • Ensure the establishment of appropriate equipment needs for the patient care areas and participates in the purchase and equipment committee.
  • Advise the Hospital Director/Deputy Hospital Director on matters relating to the operation of the Patient Care division

Please apply if you have:-Broad knowledge and proficiency in fundamentals of nursing care and procedure, sterilization techniques, and standards of safety, hygiene, sanitation, and infection control standards-Good Analytical, Problem Solving, Leadership, Analytical and Motivational skills; Ability to Plan, Organize, Prioritize and Delegate Responsibilities-Great communication and interpersonal skills.-Basic MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), internet, and Hospital MIS.-Good written and spoken English language. (Arabic is an advantage)
