Job Description

Do you have a passion for Coffee?We are looking for candidates who are detail-oriented, organized, good with people, and who have a strong background in coffee and Caf? operations. ?You are someone who wants to learn, who wants to take the responsibility of helping manage our operations in Kofe Espresso Bar while providing support to our staff and excellent service to our customers.?The Multi-Unit Caf? Manager will be responsible for Caf? and store manager development and have an opportunity to apply your experience with coffee and restaurant management to effect real and lasting impacts within the Kofe brand.Essential duties and responsibilities include the followingLeadership:

  • Balance the priorities of operations and training for the Barista training program, while strengthening collaborative relationships
  • Ensure Caf? and barista training programs and service objectives align with our overall organizational mission and vision
  • Practice effective communication with all staff, customers and vendors
  • Foster an environment that welcomes and encourages feedback from team members. Learning operational insights and integrating them into the overall program
  • Assist with the development, communication, and implementation of the caf? & barista training, goals and procedures.
Customer Service:
  • Practice excellent customer service skills with customers, staff, & vendors
  • Develop and implement ongoing customer service training and guidelines for staff.
Operations:
  • Work with accounting to ensure adherence to proper financial and audit controls.
  • Budget, Sales & Labor management
  • Identify proper controls for stock rotation, quality of food offerings, and proper food quality and safety standards
  • Support store managers and staff with maintaining inventory, stock levels, and waste documentation.
  • Work with staff to ensure equipment maintenance, repairs, and proper documentation logs are completed and maintained
  • Monitor equipment repairs and failures and ensure they are solved
  • In conjunction with Store Managers and Management design, implement and documentation of operational processes and procedures
  • Monitor scheduling and attendance for staff.
Sales & Promotion:
  • Provide guidance and advice on retail merchandising, stock rotation, and display
  • Monitor food and pastry merchandising strategies, rotations and provide education and training
  • Develop and implement program marketing strategies in conjunction with our marketing department and vision
  • Holiday planning and execution
  • Social Media engagement in collaboration with our marketing lead.
