Installation and administration of WebLogic Servers and IIS Servers on Operating Systems like UNIX and Windows and Web Servers like Apache and Tomcat in Production, Testing and Development environments.
Deploying and troubleshooting J2EE applications in WAR, JAR and Ear formats on various versions of Application Servers using various ways like GUI, command line and automated scripts
Work closely with developers to define and configure Application Servers, Virtual Hosts, and Web Applications, across multiple instances of the servers
Cluster management such as setting up horizontal and vertical clusters
ÿMonitoring, Tuning, Backup/Restore, Upgrades, Failover and Recovery of servers for availability, scalability, maintainability
Identifying and applying patches on multiple servers from time to time thereby keeping the servers safe and up to dated
Handling multiple application server nodes hosted across multiple servers
Tuning of WebLogic servers, Tomcat server and IIS Servers in Production and Non-Production environments.
Administering server permissions by setting appropriate roles for different users by assigning realms, rules and policies for Authentication and Authorization
Setting up SSL, SSO and SAML implementations to secure internal as well as external applications and webservice.
Migrating from one server version to another keeping the business functionality intact and ensuring minimal downtime
Unix/Linux administration and Scripting commands
Container provisioning, orchestration and clustering with Kubernetes, Docker, and/or cloud deployment technologies preferably in large and/or complex environments
DevOps engineer in building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure and working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
