The role requires in-depth knowledge in several of the following technology areas: Design, deploy, and configure MECM infrastructure, including site servers, distribution points, management points, and software update points. Create and maintain MECM packages, applications, and task sequences for software deployment and operating system deployment (OSD). Develop and implement software distribution strategies, including application packaging, testing, and deployment to end-user devices. Manage and maintain software updates using MECM, including deploying patches, creating update groups, and monitoring compliance. Perform MECM client management tasks, including client installation, troubleshooting client issues, and maintaining client health. Configure and manage MECM features, such as hardware/software inventory, reporting, and endpoint protection. Monitor and troubleshoot MECM infrastructure, including component health, replication, content distribution, and client communication. Implement security measures and best practices to protect SCCM infrastructure and ensure data integrity. Stay updated with the latest MECM features, technologies, and security patches, and recommend appropriate upgrades or enhancements.
