Report To: Head of Corporate Banking.Job Purpose-???Managing the portfolio of the Corporate Banking Department with the objective of meeting the Business Groups objectives in conserving and developing profitable Corporate Banking Business.Key Responsibilities??Increase and maintain corporate banking portfolios.???Prepare Business Plans for the Sectors covering at least one year business projections in line with the assigned budget targets.??Participate actively in preparing corporate banking strategy covering a period of 10 to 15 years, based on prevailing and expected economic and industry trends.??Prepare team budget figures for the following year, along with annual tactical plan (budgets in details) to reflect on budget figures, in line with the strategic plan already approved by bank management.??Develop, implement and maintain a systematic Marketing program to conserve existing and acquire new business within a well-balanced portfolio.??Meets or exceeds assigned goals through outside marketing.??Provide quality service to meet clients needs and ensure that subordinates are meeting or exceeding clients expectations.??Contributes to the profitability and growth of Business Banking by building, developing, and managing new and expanded client relationships with business clients.???Consults with clients and prospects about their financial goals and needs and identifies and promotes bank products and services to best meet those needs.??Maintain, review and optimize profitable credit relationships.? Handling agency functions.??Oversee, evaluate, review Credit Applications and affect necessary amendments needed to ensure consistent high quality presentations and credit analysis and thereafter, documentation is properly executed.??Responsible for promoting teamwork, empowerment and the cross training of employees.??Provide subordinates timely, candid, and constructive performance feedback and review subordinates performance and recommend promotions.? Develop subordinates to their fullest potential to enhance individual career growth.??Ensures the area is sufficiently staffed, and that the staff is adequately trained on the job functions.??Review subordinates leaves to ensure that no disruption to business occurs.??Execute appropriate disciplinary measures in according with Personnel Policies and procedures.??Maintain a cordial relationship between the department under management and the other departments in the branch.? Actively cross-sells appropriate banking products to new and existing customers and refer clients to other areas for additional needs.
