Define project scope and timeline, ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget frame.
Handle import and export activities, customs clearance by air / sea; and courier and overland cargo clearance.
Coordinate and monitor safety, technical performance, and cost of contract jobs with local service providers & shipping companies/agents to control financial cost.
Manage overall allocation planning process by properly assigning tasks to employees within the department, to complete jobs within the allotted time frame and in minimal cost.
Thoroughly examine credit worthiness of the existing customer base and exercise control on any payment defaults (AR status), managing agent productivity and their respective credit limits (AP status).
Maintain a comprehensive database of crucial information including insurance, mileage, overhead costs, and logistical details to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies (such as PAI, EPA, Customs, MOC, MOH, MOI, Information, Agriculture, etc.).
Stay updated on regional forwarding and customs clearance market knowledge, including equipment, port and airport operations, relevant restrictions, and regulations.
Manage the day-to-day operations and activities related to automotive and non-automotive shipment clearance from various entry ports to our yards and stores.
Manage and provide support for cargo and clearance services of different Companies within the Al Mulla Group and its subsidiaries.
