Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to lead and manage the supply chain, logistics operations, procurement, and warehousing functions. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient, cost-effective operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.As a Logistics Manager, you will oversee the flow of goods and materials, ensuring on-time delivery, inventory optimization, and operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.Key Responsibilities:Logistics Management

  • Plan, implement, and manage logistics operations, including transportation, distribution, and delivery.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners, such as carriers and freight forwarders, to optimize transportation routes and ensure timely delivery.
  • Analyze supply chain processes to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance efficiency.
Purchasing/Procurement
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure on-time availability of goods and materials.
  • Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Monitor vendor performance and build strong supplier relationships.
Warehouse Management
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory control, stock management, and space optimization.
  • Implement safety standards, quality checks, and compliance within the warehouse.
  • Leverage warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory flow and improve accuracy.
Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, reduce wastage, and minimize stock-outs.
  • Implement inventory control methods such as FIFO, LIFO, or JIT (Just-in-Time).
  • Analyze demand trends to forecast needs and optimize stock levels.
Team Management
  • Lead and supervise teams across logistics, procurement, and warehousing functions.
  • Provide training, ensure adherence to company policies, and promote a culture of safety.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and evaluate team performance.
Cost Control and Budgeting
  • Manage budgets for logistics, procurement, and warehousing operations.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities across the supply chain to improve profitability.
  • Optimize processes to ensure effective resource utilization.
Compliance and Reporting
  • Ensure adherence to legal, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Prepare detailed reports on logistics performance, costs, risks, and opportunities.
