DescriptionJob Title:Job Location:KuwaitThis position supports a US Military customer and may have a 24 x 7 support requirement which could include an Extended Workweek (EWW) or Shift Work during other than normal duty hours.The ideal candidate will provide configuration management (CM) and change management services to military units to include, maintaining accurate account of configuration items (CIs) and changes to the CI during the lifecycle of IT assets, and support a range of commonly used tactical and strategic SATCOM components and baseband (NIPR, SIPR and TDP) systems.Job Responsibilities:* Enable maintenance and warranty repair.* Manage equipment spares.* Handle packaging and shipping (inbound and outbound).* Maintain maintenance action tracking and status update.* Maintain equipment asset tracking and warranty status.* Manage equipment repair turnaround time as per the PWS.* Use the SOP from the SMC on reporting procedures.* Have knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Change Management framework and following the direction of Designated Approval Authority (DAA).* Enable maintenance and warranty repair.* Manage equipment spares.* Handle packaging and shipping (inbound and outbound).* Maintain maintenance action tracking and status update.* Maintain equipment asset tracking and warranty status.* Manage equipment repair turnaround time as per the PWS.* Use the SOP from the SMC on reporting procedures.* Keep appropriate databases updated to accurately reflect system baselines, and perform audits on such database to ensure effectiveness of controls.* Liaise with the customer to ensure requirements are met and ensure the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) integrity. Implement approved changes to CMDB structure including attributes and relationships.* Plan a schedule of independent audits and perform audits on the CMDB, comparing its contents with the actual IT infrastructure.* Provide executive technical support to the Configuration Advisory Board (CAB), including scheduling meetings, developing agenda, attendee notification of meetings, assisting project managers who are on the agenda and assisting the CAB chair to run and facilitate the meetings. * Provide reports, statistics and metrics of actions and decisions of the CAB. * Develop standards, guidelines and SOPs to guide the use of the Request for Change (RFC) & Authorized Service Interruption (ASI) process. * Conduct day-to-day activities of change management process execution. * Provide guidance and support in the maintenance of version control of baseline hardware and software. * Help to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Change Management and Configuration Management Processes. * Produce Change Management Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reports.Job Requirements:* Must be able to operate a forklift * Must be able to manually lift up to 50 pounds * Must be able to operate a floor jack * Must have OCONUS /Middle East AOR logistics experience * Experience with Military Shipping Forms DD1149,DD1750, and FUVA (Funds Verification & Use Authorization) processes . * Experience with military airlift processess and procedures (DODAC/ULN) * Experience with Basic Military Supply Functions and Documentation (DD 3161,DD 2062 , and DD 1348 forms, and DLA turn in processes) * Knowledge of Commercial Shipping and Forwarding * Knowledge of AK 302 Customs Documentation * Knowledge of lateral equipment transfers and Issuing of Equipment and turn in * Must be a U.S. Citizen* Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and a comprehensive background check* US Secret Security Clearance *Company Benefits: + Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance+ Flexible Spending Accounts+ 401(k) Plan+ Company-paid Long-Term Disability+ Company-paid Life Insurance+ Paid Holidays and Vacation+ Employee Referral Program+ Employee Assistance Program+ Cell Phone Allowance+ Tuition Reimbursement (after one year)?Our Company: Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, Envistacom provides communications, cyber, and intelligence solutions, support services and technology to the U.S. DoD and coalition partners in aerospace, defense, and intelligence communities.
