Job Title: Legal and Compliance officerReports to: Head of LegalKey ResponsibilitiesAssist HOD to ensure documentation of all deals and transactions (agreements, contracts etc.) to which company is a party to and ensure that company?s interests are well protected.Comply and assist in auditing the compliance with policies and procedures laws and contracts,Follow-up with government regulatory bodies in order to be acquainted with any new laws/regulationsand executive orders newly enacted that may impact to the company.Share applicable laws & regulations with the concerned departments on the formats approved by Head of Legal.Assist HOD in preparing standard agreements company sales activitiesProvide documentation and necessary feedback and follow up with the external counsel when handling disputes before the courts and other legal bodiesManaging dispute resolution and settlement claims outside courtsTranslate legal documents into English/Arabic for internal use as required by HODResolve any other issue that arises in day to day working of the company which might relate to accidents, insurance claims, tenders, contracts etc.Assist the management in the fulfilling its obligations, statutory or otherwise, concerning prevention of personal injuriesReview, draft and negotiate contracts in the groups best interestDrafting agendas and meeting minutes of shareholders & board of directors under HOD impressionMaintain a safe working environmentImplementation of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards as well as core business values and IMS policies.Obey and adhere to the HR & QHSE communicationComply with applicable office policiesReporting of unsafe acts and condition to QHSEIncident reporting
