Job Description

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Landscape Engineer who will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the development of outdoor spaces. The selected candidate will work closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals to create functional, attractive, and sustainable landscapes that meet the needs of the community and the environment.Responsibilities:

  • Planning and designing outdoor spaces such as parks, gardens, public spaces, and private residential areas.
  • Collaborating with clients, contractors, and other professionals to develop plans and specifications for landscape projects.
  • Conducting site analysis and assessments to identify existing site conditions, potential design challenges, and opportunities.
  • Developing plans and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other tools to communicate design ideas and specifications.
  • Conducting research on plant materials, sustainable design practices, and emerging trends in landscape architecture.
  • Selecting appropriate plant species and materials for projects, based on site conditions, environmental factors, and client preferences.
  • Preparing cost estimates and budgets for landscape projects.
  • Overseeing construction and installation of landscape features, ensuring compliance with design plans and specifications.
  • Managing project timelines and budgets, and communicating with clients and contractors throughout the design and construction process.
  • Ensuring that landscape projects meet environmental regulations and standards, such as those related to storm water management, erosion control, and habitat preservation.
