Job Description

About the Organization:A bilingual kindergarten opening soon in Kuwait offering a curriculum including a wide variety of relevant courses for the main goal of guiding students to become well prepared for learning the next levels in primary school.Requiring a British female kindergarten teacher.Responsibilities:

  • Building trusting relationships with students, parents, and other staff
  • Organize classroom lectures and coursework
  • Assigning interesting homework and exercises, and assessing the students progress (e.g. homework, exam grades, etc.)
  • Keep a record of students attendance and grades
  • If applicable, identify students with special requirements and create individualized plans
  • Provide feedback based on workload and classroom behavior
  • Manage classroom crises and resolve conflict
  • Inform parents about their childrens performance via regular reports and meetings
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and administrators to foster a good student experience
  • Develop lesson plans/curricula and teaching strategies
  • Keeping abreast of events (e.g. National Day) and incorporating these events and themes into lessons to make them more relevant to students
  • Using technology to improve lesson delivery and record-keeping
  • Expanding teacher networks and participating in workshops, lectures, and other learning opportunities
