Job Description

Junior Financial Controllerÿ- Branded Chocolate CompanyDirectly reporting to the Local Finance Manager, the Junior Controller would be responsible for:úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿEnsuring the proper planning process (Budget and Forecast) respecting Region and Group timings. úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿSupporting sales and Trade marketing departments with financial efficiency assessment and guidance.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿAssisting in Month End close with responsibility for trade programs reporting, and accruals.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿAssisting in Year End and other external audit.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿSupporting in the management of the Trade SpendÿBudgeting & Forecasting

  • Participate actively to the construction of the budget and forecast in close collaboration with the Local Finance Manager.
  • Coordinates all departments involved in the budget preparation data, also complying with Region and Group guidelines.
  • Ensures timely upload of budget ad forecast data in HFM / Essbase.
Reporting
  • Development, analysis, and interpretation of statistical and accounting information toÿevaluate profitability andÿperformance against budget.
  • Manage Month End Calendar and Procedures.
  • Ensures accurate and timely reporting to management of scheduled reports.
Financial Accounting
  • Manage Month End Accrual for Trade Programs.
  • Calculate and prepare adjusting entries.
  • Apply appropriate accounting standards.
  • Cost Centre analysis and allocation.
Auditing
  • Collect and present information for internal and external audits.
  • Apply appropriate auditing standards.
  • Determine and apply appropriate audit tests and procedures.
Controlling
  • Trade Programs analyses ? Customer/Channel Analyses
  • Report and investigation of variances
  • Makes recommendations to ensure fiscal year targets are achieved.
