Design, optimize, and oversee the implementation of short and long-term data networks initiatives.
Analyze, recommend, and implement corrections in complex technical applications to enhance performance.
Respond to issue escalation and service interruption and perform root cause analysis.
Perform network capacity planning and performance analysis to properly size network connections.
Perform infrastructure performance diagnosis and scalability assessment activities.
Provide advanced troubleshooting, implementation, and configuration of network hardware and software.
Provide comprehensive designs to address and complement strategic routing and switching direction.
Conduct cost analysis and evaluate vendor capabilities to provide the required products or services.
Minimum of three (3) years related work experience working with Cisco Routers and Switches.
Knowledge and review of action plans for planned and unplanned changes to the network infrastructure.
Managing and maintaining organization IT infrastructure and monitor the performance and availability of IT services.
Identify and execute upgrade of IT infrastructure when needed Overseeing of IT services and security
Develop and maintain an efficient and reliable backup and disaster recovery plan to ensure business continuity in any emergency.
Ensure the servers, applications and network devices are updated with latest security patches to ensure the minimum vulnerability chances.
Work with senior managers and other department heads to identify the requirement, plan, and execute infrastructure requirements.
Manage the daily operation of the IT Support and Network department, provides technical expertise to staff supervised, and resolve problems escalated to the Manager level.
Directs, motivates, and develops staff; maximizing their contribution, their professional growth, and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
Defines and manages resource requirements and allocations, monitors, and improves quality and ensures best practice development techniques.
Perform any other task within the realm of work as assigned by the Supervisor/ Head of Department.
Shall have knowledge and familiarity with IP communications, including packet analysis.
Shall have knowledge and familiarity with layer 3 technologies, such as EIGRP and HSRP.
Shall have knowledge and familiarity with layer 2 technologies, such as Rapid Spanning-Tree.
Shall have network troubleshooting skills and knowledge of networks.
