Job Description

IT system administrator is responsible for day-to-day administration, maintenance and performance monitoring of critical server and servers infrastructure both within Al Sayer?s Datacenter and on the Cloud. Serves as a technical expert in administration of complex systems, participates in planning for upgrades and provide inputs for systems redesign. The duties are as follows:

  • Installs, configure, and deploy server hardware and software, including operating systems, applications, and patches to support and maintain effective network service operations.
  • Manages, deploys, configures, and maintains servers in a virtualized environment. Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues with server infrastructure.
  • Analyzes and resolves issues, gathers information to identify needs, evaluates systems and network requirements.
  • Deploy security patches across servers and endpoints to ensure patch compliance.
  • Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation of all operating systems and network devices.
  • Take proactive steps to harden systems and devices against cyberthreats.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve system hardware, software issues
  • Maintain and monitor email infrastructure.
  • Ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability within all critical systems.
  • Maintain regular backups along with periodic restoration tests.
  • Provide inputs for improvements in existing systems or new deployments.
