Job Description

Position PurposeThe IT Software Developer is responsible for designing and developing software, which entailscreating, testing and evaluating software applications and systems that match the business needof internal and external customers. He/she is also responsible to develop customized reportingand business intelligence solutions feeding on existing corporate solutions in order to assess

  • organization?s performance operationally and financially.
  • 1. Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware, or to upgrade
  • interfaces and improve performance.
  • 2. Design or develop software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to
  • predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
  • 3. Participate in all phases of software/systems development life cycle (SDLC)
  • 4. Apply apposite SDLC methodology according to business domain and priorities, user and
  • business requirements, technology constraints and software architecture, team skillset, and
  • project scope.
  • 5. Consult with team members to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop
  • specifications and performance requirements, or resolve customer problems.
  • 6. Convert instructions into computer languages.
  • 7. Formulate and conduct extensive test plans to ensure system reliability and conformity.
  • 8. Develop ASP.NET (Web Forms & MVC) ERP applications, leveraging ADO.NET Entity
  • Framework where applicable, for group subsidiaries to manage operational activities and
  • explore business opportunities.
  • 9. Develop a SharePoint intranet portal to serve the organization as a center of information and
  • business process platform across BIG and subsidiaries.
  • 10. Develop self-contained SSRS(SQL Server Reporting Solution) projects to be integrated into
  • SharePoint & ERP applications as a business intelligence dashboard in order to assess
  • company performance operationally and financially.
  • 11. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or
  • modification of an existing system.
  • 12. Develop or direct software system testing or validation procedures.
  • 13. Direct software programming and development of documentation.
  • 14. Develop different types of software, including business applications and middleware.
  • 15. Apply knowledge of computing systems and software structure.
  • 16. Create flowcharts, diagrams, and other documentation
