Job Description

Due to our recent projects expansion a Network Administrator is required. We are an online services company looking for an efficient, reliable Network Administrator to join our network operations team. You will monitor our systems and servers to ensure the network is consistently available to all our staff, clients and customers and to troubleshoot any issue that may cause a disruption in service.The required candidate should do the following:

  • Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade company networks and in-house servers
  • Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
  • Keep an eye out for needed updates
  • Support and administer third-party applications
  • Ensure network security and connectivity
  • Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
  • Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords
  • Resolve problems reported by end user
  • Define network policies and procedures
  • Specify system requirements and design solutions
  • Research and make recommendations on server system administration
  • Backup & Restore SQL server
