Job Description

Along with a university degree and investment-specific certifications (preferred, but not mandatory), The Investment Analyst role requires strong communication and research skills and an ability to analyze and interpret industry trends that leads to new opportunity generation.Responsibilities:

  • Research sector specific trends to identify target investments and generate investment theses
  • Analytical proficiency and strong financial modelling experience. Focus on modelling early-stage companies preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to network and originate new opportunities.
  • Communicate and present investment cases to senior managers and Investment Committee.
  • Stay up-to-date with financial market developments, including interest rates outlook, fixed income and equity markets.
  • Stay abreast with industrial developments, investment products, new investment policies and economic developments.
  • Monitoring the industrial ratings of banks and related institutions to determine the appropriate dealing limits suitable for investment policies.
  • Review the asset management aspects of various service providers, to understand the areas of improvement and recommend modifications to the customer or client.
