Job Description

A company in the Hotel industry is looking for an Officer- Hotel IndustryPosition Overview:We are looking for a dedicated and experienced HR Officer to join our hotels human resources team. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in human resources, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry. As an HR Officer, you will play a critical role in managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting the hotels mission to create a positive and inclusive work environment.Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Selection: Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
  2. Onboarding and Orientation: Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including the completion of necessary paperwork and orientation programs.
  3. Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances. Address and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  4. Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal processes, providing guidance to managers and employees.
  5. Training and Development: Identify training needs, organize training sessions, and support career development initiatives for hotel staff.
  6. HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure that HR policies and procedures are communicated and followed consistently and that the hotel complies with labor laws and regulations.
  7. Payroll and Benefits Administration: Collaborate with the finance department to manage payroll processing and administer employee benefits programs.
  8. Employee Records: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personnel files and attendance records.
  9. Employee Engagement: Develop and implement employee engagement activities and initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
