Ensure the organization?s effective implementation of Occupational health and safety management programs.
Respond to fire alarms and other regular patient, staff, vendors, and visitors? safety activities.
Regularly implement updates, monitoring, and documentation of the status of flammable materials and smoke/heat detectors in the clinical and administrative areas. Monitoring PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) related to all non-medical equipment and the fire (fire & smoke) safety system with Kuwait Hospital.
Monitor irregularities and report to the proper authority. Maintain a logbook for accidents/ incidents/ near misses.
Regular inspection of the internal and external environment of Kuwait Hospital. Yearly risk assessments and action planning related to FMS (Facility Maintenance Service) and follow-up (in collaboration with Operations and Quality).
Liaise with government or relevant authorities in conformance with safety standards.
Conduct training for drills/ evacuation as per schedules.
Authorized to stop work/ remove workforce from a work situation of immediate or imminent exposure to danger/a hazard / if they consider it a reasonable risk to the safety/health of themselves, their colleagues, and the public.
Communicate with peers, co-workers, and supervisors.
Professional attitude and aptitude towards communication keep in mind that the clinics are represented in every communication to internal or external customers.
Encourage multi-disciplinary teamwork.
Implement the hospital?s policies & procedures.
Inform the Chief Quality Officer (CQO) of progress through monthly reporting.
Performs additional tasks as and when assigned by the Line Manager to ensure departmental objectives are met.
