Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head of Equipment Maintenance and Refrigeration Department to lead our team. This role involves overseeing the activities of our equipment maintenance and refrigeration department, ensuring the smooth operation of company equipment used in the production process.Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead employees within the Equipment Maintenance and Refrigeration Department, providing guidance, evaluating performance, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Develop periodic and preventive maintenance programs for a wide range of equipment, including refrigeration, air conditioning machines, refrigerators, and power generation devices.
  • Oversee the execution of periodic maintenance programs and coordinate with external suppliers to provide maintenance and repair services, ensuring optimal equipment performance.
  • Determine spare parts requirements for equipment and machinery, both locally sourced and imported, to support established systems. Directly purchase some spare parts from the local market.
  • Review reports from manufacturing personnel concerning maintenance and renewal needs. Review purchase notes for parts and materials, seeking approval from the Director of the Maintenance and Construction Department.
  • Assess new equipment for suitability and effectiveness, making informed selections.
  • Select technicians and department workers, and provide guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  • Review and approve monthly reports on equipment and machinery conditions, as well as prepare periodic reports on departmental performance for submission to the department director.
  • Maintain continuous communication with all company departments to monitor the implementation of the equipment maintenance program. Establish ongoing communication with equipment suppliers and agencies to coordinate maintenance and obtain quotes.
  • Use available technical resources and tools to expand departmental capabilities and increase productivity. Seek feedback, training, and guidance to improve performance and implement recommendations.
  • Maximize the use of company resources, maintain business relationships, and respond to customer needs. Manage customer relationships through proactive and effective communication and problem resolution.
  • Ensure the provision of high-quality, value-added services to the companys departments and clients.
  • Develop the internal capabilities of team members through guidance, counseling, workshops, and knowledge transfer. Participate in team discussions to share knowledge and present ideas and solutions that benefit the team.
  • Ensure timely submission of necessary reports in accordance with management policies and procedures, including weekly and monthly reports.
  • Ensure the implementation of administrative work, such as requesting invoices and following up on customer requirements, in a timely manner.
