GPS controllers oversee all aspects of vehicle management, including safety, training and finance. Track shipments and deliveries and coordinate safety training for employees. Monitor the transportation departments efficiency and performance and look for ways to improve productivity, reduce errors, cut back on waste and bolster the company?s bottom line. Links between the company and its customers and suppliers.Responsibilities? Maintain electronic databases and GPS reports.? Ensure fleet availability to meet all requests of scheduling, forecasting and surveying current user trends.? Maintain knowledge and utilize all fleet information and user surveys to forecast new requirements of GPS.? Support fleet wellness and schedules.? Oversee routine of vehicles to ensure scheduling of fleet management.? Monitor and ensure fleet operation in compliance with local and state rules and regulations.? Maintain and monitor data management system to organize fleets as per various schedules and requests.? Streamline and monitor fuel purchase system with assistance of Fuel Cards for all vehicles travelling and drivers.? Facilitate and implement corrective actions and capacity building to manage entire fleet to achieve company objectives.? Monitoring and managing vehicle GPS tracking system and generate detailed KPI reports.? Enforcing Working Time Directive regulations among drivers.? Reporting driver?s absences/ delay/ long layover.? Ensuring all daily checks are completed and recorded on the central system to be reported.? Completing weekly KPI reports and following up on poor performance.
