Job Description

A company in the Hotel industry is looking for a General Cashiers and PaymasterPosition Overview:We are currently seeking a skilled and responsible General Cashier and Paymaster to join our hotels finance team. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in cash handling, financial management, and payroll processing within the hotel industry. As a General Cashier and Paymaster, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial accuracy, managing cash flow, and ensuring timely payroll disbursements.Responsibilities:

  1. Cash Management: Safeguard and manage the hotels cash flow, including handling daily cash deposits, petty cash, and ensuring cash balances are reconciled accurately.
  2. Payroll Processing: Oversee the timely and accurate processing of employee payroll, including the distribution of paychecks and handling any payroll-related inquiries.
  3. Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial reports related to cash transactions, payroll expenses, and other financial activities for management review.
  4. Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile cash accounts and resolve discrepancies to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
  5. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable financial and payroll regulations and company policies.
  6. Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including receipts, invoices, payroll records, and tax documents.
  7. Banking Relationships: Build and maintain positive relationships with banking institutions and facilitate banking transactions as needed.
