Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage daily accounting tasks and support financial operations within our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily entries, daily cash reconciliation for all shops, assisting with payroll processing, following up on regular payments, managing drivers petty cash, preparing financial reports, and overseeing all accounting aspects.Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily entries in the accounting system, including recording transactions, journal entries, and adjustments.
  • Conduct daily close cash reconciliation for all shops, reconciling cash receipts and disbursements against sales records and bank deposits to verify accuracy and completeness of cash transactions.
  • Assist with payroll processing, including calculating salaries, commissions, overtime, and annual leave accruals, and ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Follow up with regular payments, such as rents, contracts, utilities, and other recurring expenses, ensuring payments are processed on time and accurately.
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and variance analysis, to provide management with insights into financial performance.
  • Oversee all accounting aspects, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • conduct month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and management, to address accounting issues and provide financial insights.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting
  2. Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
  3. Proven experience in accounting in retail industry, with a strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
  4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Attention to detail and accuracy
