Job Description

The Facility Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that the physical environment of a property is well-maintained, safe, and efficient. This position is essential in the real estate sector, particularly in managing residential, commercial, or mixed-use properties. A Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of facilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and enhancing the overall tenant experience. With a minimum of 7 years of experience, the ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of facility management principles and practices.Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the daily operations of the facility, ensuring all systems are functioning efficiently.
  2. Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
  3. Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracts for services such as cleaning, landscaping, and security.
  4. Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  5. Prepare and manage the facility budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and maintenance.
  6. Coordinate with tenants to address their concerns and improve their overall experience within the facility.
  7. Implement sustainability initiatives to reduce energy consumption and enhance the environmental performance of the facility.
  8. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to facility operations.
  9. Train and supervise facility staff, ensuring high standards of service and maintenance.
  10. Prepare reports on facility performance and present findings to senior management.
