Job Description

Position: HV Engineer?Preferred Candidate:

  1. Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  2. Candidate must have minimum 10 years related experience in Substation and Transmission Line operation and maintenance in the Oil & Gas Industry.
  3. Experience in High Voltage Overhead transmission lines (33 KV lines) in Oil and Gas field.
  4. Maintenance experience in MV switchgears
  5. Knowledge of special tools for switchyards/sub-station testing and maintenance
  6. Work experience of High voltage cabling and terminations
Responsibilities:
  1. High Voltage (HV) Engineer will be responsible for managing Maintenance of Overhead Transmission Lines, Electrical Switchgears, transformers, Prefabricated Outdoor Substation (POS), substations, etc.
  2. HV Engineer is responsible for the liaison with competent authority to comply with all statutory requirements and codifications and adhere to strict follow up of standards pertaining to the High Voltage systems in the Oil & Gas environment.
