descriptionThe Director of Nursing is responsible for strategic planning and ensuring operational excellence in the department. This role has Board-level responsibility for nursing and other staff, providing strong leadership and encouraging innovation and strategic thinking. The Director of Nursing adheres to hospital policies and professional ethics standards. Furthermore you will be responsible for contributing to the hospitals vision and mission, working towards achieving hospital/department and individual goals as well as ensuring high standards for all departments and implementing and oversee departmental policies.˙You have a broad set of responsibilities and will be in contact with different kinds of departments.
