Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Customer Service:

  • Greet customers courteously and assist them in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Address customer inquiries, provide product information, and offer assistance as needed.
Sales Transactions:
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods in accordance with company policies.
Product Knowledge:
  • Develop a good understanding of the products or services offered to effectively assist customers with their selections.
Inventory Management:
  • Monitor and manage inventory at the counter.
  • Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining organized product displays.
Up-selling and Cross-selling:
  • Recommend additional products or services to customers to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Inform customers of promotions, discounts, and special offers.
Cash Handling:
  • Count and reconcile cash at the beginning and end of the shift.
  • Ensure the security of cash and adhere to cash handling procedures.
