Performing the professional duties of a consultant as in accordance with the delineation of the scope of care and PRIVILEGES as recommended by the Head of department and approved by the Credentialing committee.
Performing the duties in the outpatient clinic according to the department and Taiba hospital regulations.
Performing the approved procedures according to the PRIVILEGES.
Providing consultation services to the in and outpatient services in his/ her area of expertise.
Providing the needed OB&GYN care to the patients in the OB&GYN clinic.
Performing a wide range of tests, including pap smears, pelvic, and breast exams.
Diagnosing and prescribing treatments for disorders and diseases.
Conducting routine check-ups on patients.
Monitoring and treating expectant mothers during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
Recording medical histories.
Educating patients about disease prevention and detection, and reproductive health.
Collaborating with other medical and non-medical personnel.
Keeping up to date with current practices and innovations.
To undertake the following components of obstetric and gynecological care.
Undertake daily, morning rounds with the registrars Obstetric provider of the day and Obstetrician of the day.
Determining the best course of treatment for each patient based on their unique condition and needs.
Handling unscheduled emergency surgeries.
Provides on-call service and ensures availability and response time within the prescribed timeframe in accordance with hospital policy.
