Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth execution of construction projects by managing the procurement process?from analyzing project scopes to sourcing materials and negotiating competitive pricing.Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project scopes and technical specifications to determine material and service requirements.
  • Prepare comprehensive lists of required materials, equipment, and services for construction projects.
  • Identify and source potential suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers.
  • Request, collect, and compare price quotations from vendors.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms.
  • Maintain and manage supplier relationships and monitor vendor performance.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Track and manage procurement budgets, reporting regularly on expenses.
  • Collaborate with project management, engineering, and logistics teams to support construction project execution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 6?8 years of proven experience in construction procurement, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, tools, equipment, and industry standards.
  • Preferred: Experience working on construction projects within US Army Bases and familiarity with their procurement procedures.
