POSITION SUMMARY:Responsible for undertaking major out-door jobs such us to collects payments on accounts overdue, delivering bills and keeps record of collections, status of accounts, and other duties related to companies functions as designated by the Finance Controller.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:????????1.????Undertakes to receive payment cheques / bank drafts from various local customers.????????2.????Informing of the customer/client overdue account and follow-up of for payment.????????3.?????When necessary, the collector reviews the terms of sale, service or credit contract with the customers.????????4.????Collectors also may attempt to learn the cause of the delay in payment. ????????5.????If a customer agrees to pay, collectors record this commitment and check later to verify that the payment was indeed made. ????????6.????Collectors In more extreme cases, collectors may initiate repossession proceedings, disconnect the customer?s service, or hand the account over to an attorney for legal action. ????????7.????Collector will usually also handle other administrative functions for their assigned accounts which include making changes of address and/or contact details.????????8.????Undertakes any other activities that may be required and assigned.
