Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Chief Accountant to join our team in Al, Kuwait,, Kuwait. As a Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our companys financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. You will play a crucial role in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as providing financial analysis and reporting to the management team. The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  2. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  3. Prepare and present financial statements and reports to the management team.
  4. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
  5. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls.
  6. Manage the budgeting and forecasting process.
  7. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  8. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as auditors and tax consultants.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends, accounting regulations, and best practices.
  10. Train and supervise junior accounting staff.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Professional certification such as ACCA or CMA is preferred.
  3. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  5. Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  6. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Attention to detail and accuracy.
  9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
