Job Description

A company in the Hotel industry is looking for a cashier.Position Overview:We are currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Cashiers to join our hotels front-of-house team. The ideal candidates should have previous experience in cashiering, preferably within the hotel industry, and possess excellent customer service skills. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing a seamless and positive guest experience by efficiently handling financial transactions and ensuring accuracy in billing.Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests during check-in and check-out processes, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
  2. Payment Processing: Accurately process guest payments, including cash, credit cards, and other payment methods, ensuring proper authorization and reconciliation of transactions.
  3. Billing and Invoicing: Prepare and present itemized bills to guests, explaining charges and providing receipts upon request.
  4. Accounting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and balance cash registers at the end of each shift.
  5. Cash Handling: Safely handle cash and maintain the security of the cash drawer in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
