Job Description

Canteen company is seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team in Al Kuwait, Kuwait. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, ensuring accuracy in cash handling, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in a similar role and possess excellent mathematical and communication skills.Responsibilities:

  1. Operate cash register and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  2. Scan and process items, ensuring that prices are correct and that all discounts are applied.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  4. Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information.
  5. Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets.
  6. Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
  7. Ensure all transactions are completed in a timely manner.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Prior experience as a Cashier or in a similar role.
  2. Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash accurately.
  3. Strong communication and customer service skills.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  6. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  7. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  8. Ability to handle cash responsibly and maintain a high level of integrity.
