Job Description

Our client is a private multi-specialty hospital in Kuwait. Their 130 bed accredited facility includes inpatient rooms, labor rooms, neonatal units, Intensive Care Units, Operation Theatres, Emergency Room, outpatient clinics and sub-specialized medical/surgical fields. Currently, the hospital is adopting an expansion plan to 230 beds.what we offerYou will earn a tax free all-inclusive salary! All leave and end of service benefits as per Kuwait Labor Law.descriptionYour main responsibilities will include:

  • Perform immittance and emissions testing for children ranging from neonates to adolescents and record results for future reference
  • Conduct auditory evoked potential assessments for patients when required to do so by a staff physician or outside health care professional
  • Assess the hearing sensitivity and quality for patients and provide patients and parents with information regarding the results
  • Dispense assistive listening devices, such as hearing aids, to patients in need of help.
  • Fit assistive listening devices based on the patient?s physiology and other needs
  • Consult with physicians and outside professionals about each patient?s future needs and current progress
  • Update medical records based on ongoing evaluations of each patient
  • Examines patients experiencing ear conditions.
  • Performs and interprets diagnostic tests, including audiometry evaluations.
  • Completes ear-related procedures and prescribes medication as needed.
  • Makes ear impressions to fit patients for cochlear implants and hearing aids.
  • Develops treatment plans and helps patients with aural rehabilitation.
  • Suggests specific hearing assistive technology (HATS) to patients.
  • Updates patient charts and electronic health records (EHR).
  • Collaborates with other medical professionals as needed.
  • Follows all medical laws, guidelines, regulations, and standards.
  • Helps public and private organizations improve accessibility.
