Job Description

An Architect Engineer is responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of buildings. They collaborate with clients and other professionals to create functional and aesthetically pleasing structures that meet safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of architectural principles, construction methods, and building materials. They should also possess excellent design and communication skills to effectively convey their ideas to clients and team members.Responsibilities:

  1. Create architectural designs and blueprints for new construction projects
  2. Collaborate with clients to determine their needs and preferences for the building design
  3. Ensure that designs comply with local building codes and regulations
  4. Supervise the construction process to ensure that the design is implemented correctly
  5. Work closely with other professionals, such as structural engineers and interior designers, to coordinate project details
  6. Review and approve contractor bids and proposals
  7. Monitor the progress of construction projects and provide guidance and support to the construction team
  8. Conduct site visits to assess the quality of construction work and address any issues that arise
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in architectural design and construction techniques
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Architecture or a related field
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural design and project management
  3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software
  4. Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
  5. Excellent design and visualization skills
  6. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and team members
  7. Attention to detail and a strong sense of creativity
  8. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  9. Knowledge of sustainable design practices
  10. Experience with construction supervision and site visits
  11. Familiarity with cost estimation and budgeting
