Middleware /Application server Administrator, one will be supporting the IT based Java and Oracle forms and reports based solutions comprised of both proprietary and open source components.
The successful candidate will be responsible for application server management, including developing and maintaining middleware and services e.g. troubleshooting, script automation, performance tuning middleware components in a primary Unix/Linux environment.
Must have Good Experience with Oracle Weblogic and Tomcat application Servers.
Personnel will also be an SME for Projects and Initiatives in the Middleware space. Also WebSphere environments knowledge is desired.
Hands on experience on basic Unix/Linux administration and Scripting Skills
Sound Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
Installation, configuration and tuning of fusion middleware such as WebLogic TOMCAT WebSphere environments or other any other middleware servers.
High availability design, configuration, and maintenance, including clustering and load balancing for fusion middleware.
Configuration of LDAP / SSO and other essential specifics for fusion middleware
Should frequently exercise performance tuning techniques, develop standards and tuning metrics and alert thresholds.
Demonstrated ability to respond to critical system failures.
Develop and implement Security strategies within technology space to ensure a secure middleware environment.
