Job Description

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Addiction Psychotherapist to join our team in Al Kuwait, Kuwait. As an Addiction Psychotherapist, you will be responsible for providing individual and group therapy to individuals struggling with addiction. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, conduct assessments, and provide ongoing support to clients in their recovery journey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in addiction counseling and a deep understanding of evidence-based treatment approaches.Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for clients with addiction issues
  2. Assess clients needs and develop personalized treatment plans
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients
  4. Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in need
  5. Document client progress and maintain accurate records
  6. Educate clients and their families about addiction, recovery, and relapse prevention
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in addiction treatment
  8. Participate in clinical supervision and professional development activities
  9. Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Masters degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  2. Valid license or certification in addiction counseling
  3. Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders
  4. Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  7. Empathy and compassion for individuals struggling with addiction
  8. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  9. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and handle sensitive information
  10. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and changing environment
