Job Description

As an Accountant, you will support the Senior Accountant & Finance Manager with wide variety of functions which include proper accounting.is as follows:

  1. Verify and activate all lease contracts in the system.
  2. Coordinate with Cashier to ensure proper collection of cheques and issuance of receipts.
  3. Verify all PDCs are collected on a timely basis and highlight discrepancies immediately.
  4. Manage PDCs to ensure timely deposit (no early or delayed deposits).
  5. Ensure AR report is accurate and updated.
  6. Prepare all the schedules related to the monthly reporting pack like expiries, vacancies, deposit schedules etc.
  7. Keep track of all VARs and ensure those are correctly reflected in the financials.
  8. Ensure timely processing of Fit out deposit and Security deposit.
  9. Generate exception reports (FD/SD not refunded, delayed Handovers, delayed openings, extended vacancies etc.) and escalating the matters if required.
  10. Provide SOA to Owner Finance Co. at the time of processing the refund.
  11. Prepare list of return cheques and follow up on the same.
  12. Ensure all receipts are correctly applied to open charges.
  13. Process TMM Corporate payments in system (Yardi).
  14. Draft cheques for TMM Corp payments.
  15. Ensure the correctness of the Bank transfers and its documentation.
  16. Perform bank reconciliation for TMM Corporate.
  17. Act as Custodian for TMM Corporate petty cash. Ensure the maintenance of physical cash and entries in system.
  18. Provide support to the Senior Accountants for any ad hoc reporting/Management requirements.
  19. Maintain the Mall master file for all Specialty Leasing units across the Properties.
  20. Maintain complete confidentiality of all sensitive matters relating to the business in general and Finance Department.
