Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Al Kuwait, Kuwait. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the construction and trading industry. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. You will also analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization. The successful candidate will have strong mathematical and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  2. Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and financial forecasts.
  3. Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and accruals.
  4. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  5. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  6. Provide financial analysis and advice to management and various departments for decision-making purposes.
  7. Monitor and analyze financial performance, cost of materials, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  8. Maintain accurate and complete financial records.
