Job Description

The Accountant position in Al Kuwait, Kuwait, is a vital role within the Tobacco & Smoking Goods industry, specifically in the manufacturing of tobacco products. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial reports to support business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment, and will be adept at using accounting software and tools.Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  3. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  4. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  5. Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  6. Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  8. Support tax preparation and compliance activities.
  9. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  10. Provide financial guidance and support to management as needed.
