Principal Accountabilities: ? Assists the electrical commissioning engineers in the commissioning and test of switchgears automation systems such as Relays, RTU?s, ATS, MTS in switchgears from 0,4 to 110 Kv. ? Performs pre and post energization checks on Power Transformers, CB?s, PT?s, CT?s, MV Switches and AC/DC System such as UPS, Chargers, Batteries and Transfer Switches ? Perform primary and secondary testing of instrument transformers (current and voltage transformers), polarity and ratio check. ? Performs pre and post energization checks of DC power supply system including the batteries, the chargers and switchboards. ? Performs point to point tests. ? Assists during setting?up and testing of MV/LV VSD and performs parametrization changes and trouble shooting. ? Ensure that the commissioning obligations of the project are carried out in accordance with the terms of contract, quality and schedule in conformance with good practice of commissioning standards. ? Ensures operation and performance are in compliance with the design criteria. ? Populates the documentation for electrical commissioning such inspection reports or commissioning test reports. ? Investigates and troubleshoots electrical problems may arise during the plant commissioning or operation. ? Comply with all instructions for job task completion.
