Principal Accountabilities: ? Handles commissioning and test of switchgears automation systems such as Relays, RTU?s, ATS, MTS in switchgears from 0,4 to 110 Kv. ? Prepare test plans, supervise and coordinate commissioning activities for Power Transformers, CB?s, PT?s, CT?s, MV Switches and AC/DC System such as UPS, Chargers, Batteries and Transfer Switches. ? Perform primary and secondary testing of instrument transformers (current and voltage transformers), polarity and ratio check. ? Oversee setting?up and testing of protection relays for MV feeders, power transformers and diesel generators. Handles testing of MV switchboards including the apparatus e.g. circuit breaker, disconnecting switches, earthing switches, VT's, etc., including testing of LV switchboards, apparatus such as circuit breakers, etc., the protection devices such as earth fault detection, etc. and measurement devices or centers. ? Responsible in testing of DC power supply system including the batteries, the chargers and switchboards. Handles testing of UPS system including the batteries, the UPS units and switchboards. ? Perform scheme test or functional test, testing of inter?trip panel and tripping matrix and monitor testing of mechanical and electrical interlocking schemes. ? Oversees setting?up and testing of MV/LV VSD and performs parametrization changes and trouble shooting. ? Ensure that the commissioning obligations of the project are carried out in accordance with the terms of contract, quality and schedule in conformance with good practice of commissioning standards. ? Ensures operation and performance are in compliance with the design criteria. Define and review method and action to ensure proper operations of equipment, system and plant. ? Prepare the taking over request of system or sub?system and managing the taking over process between the Erection team and the Commissioning team. ? Manage the documentation for electrical commissioning such as taking over certificates, as built drawings, manufacturer manuals and instructions, snagging lists, test procedures, risk assessment and healthy and safety method statement, end of commissioning reports. ? Ensure all quality control records like test reports, equipment calibration certificates, design modification requests, commissioning
